_D_e_s_c_r_i_p_t_i_o_n_:

These functions provide information about the Laplace
distribution with location parameter equal to `m' and
dispersion equal to `s'. `dlaplace' gives the density,
`plaplace' gives the distribution function, `hlaplace'
     gives the hazard function.

     The Laplace distribution has density

                  f(y) = exp(-abs(y-m)/s)/(2*s)

where m is the location parameter of the distribution
     and s is the dispersion.

_U_s_a_g_e_:

     dlaplace(y, m, s)
     plaplace(q, m, s)
     hlaplace(y, m, s)

_A_r_g_u_m_e_n_t_s_:

       y: vector of responses.

       q: vector of quantiles.

       m: vector of location parameters.

       s: vector of dispersion parameters.

_A_u_t_h_o_r_(_s_)_:

     J.K. Lindsey

_S_e_e _A_l_s_o_:

`dexp' for the exponential distribution and `dcauchy'
     for the Cauchy distribution.

_E_x_a_m_p_l_e_s_:

     dlaplace(5, 2, 1)
     plaplace(5, 2, 1)
