_D_e_s_c_r_i_p_t_i_o_n_:

An experiment involving barley and manure (nitrogen)
was conducted in 6 blocks of 3 whole plots.

_D_e_t_a_i_l_s_:

Each whole plot was divided into 4 subplots. Three
varieties of barley were used in the experiment with
one variety being sown in each whole plot, while the
four levels of manure (0, 0.01, 0.02, and 0.04 tons per
acre) were used, one level in each of the four subplots
     of each whole plot.

_V_a_l_u_e_:

The `barley' object is a data frame of four components:

B: The block, as a factor with levels `B1', `B2'
          ...{} `B6'

V: Barley varieties, as a factor with levels `V1'
          `V2' `V3'

N: Nitrogen applied, in hundredths of tons per acre.

       Y: Yield or barley

_C_A_T_E_G_O_R_Y_:

     Multistratum analysis of variance.

_S_o_u_r_c_e_:

     Unknown. Traditional data.
